Gatlinburg Farmers Market

Are you looking for fresh, healthy or organic Smoky Mountain food?  The Gatlinburg Farmers Market is a great place to shop for these unlimited amounts of produce, breads, honey, granola, plants, tea, soap and so much more.  This event will be open every Saturday from 8:30 until 11:30 a.m. through October 15. You can find this event set up at the Alamo Steakhouse parking lot located in Gatlinburg. The produce selection changes with the seasons, so you never know what you might come across. All of these foods come fresh from the ground of the Smoky Mountains. It does not get much better than that!

Farmers, vendors and members of the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community set up and demonstrate their cooking and craft skills for those that are interested. If you have ever wanted to learn how to own your own garden, then this is the place to come for great information and tips from the experts. Shades of the Past 2012

It is that time of the year again! The 2012 Shades of the Past XXX car show in Pigeon Forge, TN will be held on September 7-8 for their 13th anniversary. If you are a lover for classic cars, then this is an event you do not want to miss. This event will take place at Dollywood’s Splash Country in Pigeon Forge and there will be a parade of classic and custom built cars and hot rods everyone loves to see up and down the Parkway. When these car shows take place, it brings a lot of cars and that means a lot of traffic so bring your lawn chairs, coolers, friends, and cameras and kick back and check out all the remarkable and one-of-a-kind cars.

If you have not registered yet, there is still time. Registration will be held at Dollywood Splash Country on September 6 from 12:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M., September 7 from 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. and September 8 from 8:00 A.M.-3:30 P.M. Mail-in registrations have to be in by August 20. The lodging for this event runs out quickly, so be sure to book your reservation fast.
